Locking up the Sun

This is my first critique~hope it's ok...

I love how that glow in that staff builds up the impact of this drawing, very eye catching and you used a good use of shading techniques. I just love the way it goes darker to lighter, your skill in drawing hair is very amazing, the sky really looks beautiful in a way you drew it, who can't resist the glow of the image. I like the outfit and the hairstyle, it looks awesome! The background is amazing!!!
